Italian Baja 2011

Sporttraxx will supply the compulsory Live Tracking and the vehicle-to-vehicle technology at Italian Baja 2011. For the sixth time the competitors will rely on the safety of a technology that will follow each competitor at a 5 seconds interval along the whole track. For 2011 Sporttraxx will again use the CommBox. A new device that will be installed in the car, in front of codriver, that allows communication from and to HQ but also from car to car. Release of SOS signal, OK acknowledgement, GMW Give Me Way request of overtaking and EDA Entering Dangerous Area alert will be managed through a simple interface with buttons, lights and buzzer. For more technical details, the installation requirements, and the order procedures please refer to the here attached documents. Traxxer+CommBox must be rented. The interface+cable kit must be installed on the vehicle and therefore purchased. It will be used again in each event where Sporttraxx is providing Tracking and/or timing services.

ATTENTION ! Competitors that started at Italian Baja 2010 already had purchased and installed the compulsory eletronc interface and the wiringset. NO NEED to order it and pay for it again. JUST check the car that will start this year has it properly installed with all its components. It is still required to register online and book the compulsory rental of Traxxer and CommBox
